Who the hell is voting this team in the top 15. They struggled with Stanford for a half, struggled to stop BYU in the 2nd half, and now struggling vs back-up Utah QB.

Dorrell is a total nimrod.

UCLA plays better as a dog then a fav. Weird team IMO.

Is that because Dorrell is so unmotivational he can't get his team up for games they are supposed to win? Who is UCLA that they can overlook anybody? Theyve been reading too many pressclippings.

What I want to know is who is voting this team close to the top 10? Just watch them play.

All bias aside, USC has to prove it to me. My best play on tonight's game is USC Team Total UNDER 31 (intertops). USC relied on Smith and Jarrett for everything last yr. Nebraska's home field will be incredible, and I don't believe USC has the playmakers they've had in the past. Booty gets rattled. I think USC is INCREDIBLY overrated. I think they call a very conservative game. Seems like every other pass they throw is a 1 yd hitch pass.

I'm sure as hell not. Florida should be voted #1 until they lose a game.

I just get tired of all these Pac-10 cheerleaders having an overreaction everytime their teams get a first down. UCLA, Cal, Wash, all starting to show true colors. USC is next. And I keep seeing articles about how this conference is Sagarin #1, etc... Shows what these mean. If UCLA somehow comes back to win, anyone who watched them play knows they aren't one of the 20 best teams in the country.

Dont agree with the USC assessment though Whorman. USC has the best players in the country and there is no getting around that fact. They have proven that they are worthy of all their accolades too me they are legit. I belive that they will crush Nebraska tonight. Hope Im wrong.

They will not crush Nebraska, and after seeing Nebraska struggle last week, anything short of a rout should make USC lose their undeserved #1 ranking which is based on projection only, not accomplishment.

southern cal - the best team in the country
cal - as good as advertised (though suspect defense will fail them at some point)

the rest of the pac10, im not buying at all. not oregon. not oregon state. not ucla.

but the top 2 in the pac10 can play with anyone.

Watch Cal a little closer my friend. They are sputtering around against La Tech. They didn't exactly kill Col. State. They are not one of the 10 best teams in the country.

Because ESPN loves USC and shoves it down everyone's throat. College football is the onnly sport not based on merit

I read on a blog that the disconcerting penalty that gave Nebraska the first down inside the five was caused by a USC linebacker telling the Husker placekicker that his mother wears combat boots. Which as we all know is very disconcerting.

To be honest I could careless who wins this game mainly because I hate USC (life long Notre Dame fan) but have to root for them to win or my job will get a lot harder because of one individual who shall remain nameless.

theyre not number one because, well .... lsu and southern cal are much better.

sarkisian and crowton will shred that gators defense. and tebow's playground style will get shut down against those two.

urban meyer is a genius though and would gameplan enough to keep gms close against either opponent this year. but florida isnt on that level.

This is just speculation. Florida won the national championship and last I checked they haven't lost

Most will miss that this even happened because of the score. Did the broadcasters even mention it? I have to watch these games on mute. However, in a game against a legit opponent, this terrible lack of organization could cost you a national championship. Stay in college Pete!

And this will be the typical response, Anti-this, Anti-that. The fact of the matter is this great coach had his team kick off both halves. What if that had cost him a game? That's a fireable offense. And for the record, this win does nothing to negate what happened to Washington and UCLA today. Enjoy it!

no they havent. but ohio state played in the national championship last year, was a 7 point favorite .... and they arent even remotely close to national championship caliber this season. so 'last year' doesnt matter. its up to people to be subjective and project what we think we happen. and im pretty confident that tebow's playground style wont work against lsu or southern cal consistently.

Maybe so, maybe not. The point is USC was GIVEN the #1 spot. They did nothing to earn it. LSU and Fla have to play each other. Who does USC have to play? Come with something better than UCLA, Cal, Oregon. These are mediocre teams that play no defense.
